Basic Conflict Competence for Line Managers

Conflict is inevitable in today’s workplace and can be enormously damaging.  The key to ensuring successful management of conflict is providing line managers with the necessary competence and confidence to implement effective solutions. 

This half day workshop gives Line Managers the basic tools to be able to identify and deal with low level conflict in their team.

The workshop enables participants to:

  • Describe what workplace conflict is and assess the cost of unresolved conflict
  • Identify the signs of conflict between team members
  • Apply the AGREE model to help team members find solutions to their conflict
  • Understand conflict resolution process options and decide most appropriate response
